Are you an HR professional who enjoys connecting talented people with meaningful work? Parc Center for Disabilities is seeking an organized, relationship-driven HR Generalist to lead day-to-day recruiting efforts while supporting benefits, leave administration, onboarding, and other HR functions.
This is a hands-on, fully on-site role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with candidates and employees, and takes pride in creating a positive experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

Parc Center for Disabilities is the premier provider of life-changing services to children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Tampa Bay area. Our services are structured around three centers of excellence: Children’s Services, Adult Day Training, and Residential Care.

What You’ll Do
- Manage job postings and candidate activity in the applicant tracking system
- Review applications, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process
- Source candidates for high-volume and difficult-to-fill positions
- Support job offers, pre-employment requirements, job fairs, and recruiting outreach
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and qualifying life events
- Support the administration and tracking of FMLA and other employee leaves
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding
- Track required employee training
- Assist with employee engagement, HR records, reporting, audits, and compliance
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years of direct HR operations experience
- Strong recruiting experience, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring-manager support
- Experience supporting employee benefits and leave administration strongly preferred
- Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or high-volume environment preferred
- Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities independently
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other electronic systems
- Valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Fully on-site
- Schedule may vary based on business needs
