Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our pediatric specialty team. The physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of infants, children, and adolescents with endocrine and metabolic disorders while working collaboratively with pediatricians, specialists, nurses, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.



Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited residency in Pediatrics.
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in [State].
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to family-centered, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pediatric diabetes management and continuous glucose monitoring.
  • Experience caring for patients with complex endocrine disorders.
  • Academic, research, or teaching experience.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare environment.


Physician Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnose/treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions
  • Track and assess patient growth and monitor physical, emotional, and social development
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
  • Utilize the EMR system efficiently to review, collect, and document patient information
  • Conduct well visits, administer routine vaccinations, and provide age-appropriate guidance
  • Educate patients and families on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with compliance standards
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric endocrine and metabolic conditions.
  • Manage patients with diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid disease, disorders of puberty, adrenal and pituitary disorders, obesity, and other endocrine conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing follow-up care.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and pediatric specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
  • Participate in hospital consultations, inpatient care, and/or on-call responsibilities as applicable.
  • Participate in quality improvement, clinical education, and research activities when applicable.
  • Remain current with advances and evidence-based practices in pediatric endocrinology.

Physician Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • Board certification or eligibility in [specialty, e.g., Pediatrics, Family Medicine]
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

$94–$160/hour or $196,000–$333,000 per
