What You'll Support
As the Administrative Assistant for Acute Care Rehabilitation, you'll play an essential role in keeping the department organized and operating efficiently.
You'll gain experience with:

What You'll Do
As an Administrative Assistant, you'll provide administrative support that helps therapists focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform daily administrative functions for the Acute Care Rehabilitation department
- Coordinate therapist patient assignments
- Assist with patient scheduling and department communication
- Maintain office supply inventory
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly data entry and financial reporting
- Organize and maintain employee files and documentation
- Track regulatory requirements, including CPR certifications, professional licenses, and required credentials
- Support therapists and leadership with administrative projects
- Maintain accurate records while protecting patient confidentiality
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and fellow team members
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn departmental software
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or therapy setting
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Experience with patient scheduling software
- Medical office or hospital administrative experience
