Polygon Composites Technology is seeking dependable Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment used to produce high-quality composite products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manufacturing duties, including setting up and operating production equipment, monitoring machine performance, completing machine adjustments, and supporting other production-related tasks while following established work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Perform quality inspections using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, routers, and production documentation as required.
- Monitor product quality and machine performance and adjusting as necessary to maintain production and quality standards.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning, basic preventative maintenance, and report equipment concerns to supervision or maintenance.
- Complete production records and paperwork accurately.
- Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work effectively with team members to achieve daily production, quality, and safety objectives.

Education & Training
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSE).
Knowledge & Experience
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and accurately use basic measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift throughout a scheduled shift.
- Ability to frequently reach and continuously use hands and arms to perform job duties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while safely operating production equipment.

Hours/Shifts: This is a 3rd Shift position.
1st Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm EST
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday 3:00pm – 11:00pm EST
3rd Shift: Sunday through Friday 11:00pm – 7:00am EST
Hours and shifts may vary depending on needs of the department.
