Position Summary:
Barber-Nichols’ Program Managers oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously. The Project Coordinator supports project and program execution with effective program administration, organization, and communication. The Project Coordinator works cross-functionally across the project team, tracking open action items and following up with engineering, supply chain, and operations stakeholders to drive tasks to closure. The Project Coordinator is also encouraged to propose process improvements, risk mitigations, and problem solutions. Project Coordinators may be deployed across program lifecycles from early product development to mature repeat manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate program team members to keep tasks flowing as planned.
· Utilize project management tools as directed.
· Compile, organize, and check data.
· Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings.
· Provide concise meeting minutes and next actions.
· Escalate schedule, cost, or scope slips.
· Uphold a positive, constructive culture using BN’s core values
· Other duties as assigned by Program Managers, the Director of Program Management, or others as delegated.
Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in project management and participating on project teams; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain strong relationships.
· Good communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
· Reliable attention to detail, even under deadline pressure.
· Ability to work overtime as required.
· Ability to infrequent travel up to 10% of working time.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a high compliance manufacturing environment, such as medical, aerospace, space, defense, or similar.
· Experience in a rapid engineering development environment.
· Experience using Microsoft 365 products, such as Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with project management tools, like Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $52,000-$67,000 and is commensurate with the applicant’s experience. This range represents the anticipated minimum and maximum base for this position. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant’s qualifications (education, training and/or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
