Warehouse Supervisor
Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily assembly operations to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and according to established quality standards. This position supervises assembly employees, monitors production performance, supports employee development, and works closely with other departments to resolve production issues and improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of supervisory or lead experience in an assembly in a manufacturing environment, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and coordinate daily activities of assembly personnel.
- Plan and assign work to employees based on production schedules, staffing, and priorities.
- Monitor production output, quality, labor utilization, and efficiency to ensure departmental goals are met.
- Ensure products are assembled according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and ensure employees follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Train, coach, and develop assembly employees on processes, equipment, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
- Monitor employee attendance, performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Engineering, and other departments to minimize production interruptions.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment, tooling, material, and process issues.
- Ensure proper use and availability of materials, tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment.
- Review production schedules and adjust staffing or priorities as needed to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Complete and maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, safety, and employee engagement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to management.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or a related industrial environment.
- Previous experience as an Assembly Lead, Production Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership role preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, production documents, and basic technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use production or business software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic HR understanding.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Preferred
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP/MRP or production management systems.
- Experience using basic manufacturing metrics such as productivity, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and first-pass yield.
- Previous experience training and developing production employees.
- Experience working in a high-volume or high-mix assembly environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the production area.
- Ability to lift and carry materials or products as required by the operation up to 50lbs..
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, tools, noise, and other typical production conditions.

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000
