RN - Endoscopy
Description
  • Communicates effectively with patients, family members, staff and physicians
  • Have a working knowledge of the overall nursing functions and responsibilities related to the ambulatory care environment.
  • Must possess compassion and empathy with patients
  • Must have the ability to perform duties with little to no supervision
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans.
  • Obtains patients medical history, including medications, surgeries, vital signs IVs and symptoms requiring further evaluation for procedure preparation.
  • Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate in
  • Pre-op and recovery environment.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of disciplines for patient care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assesses and coordinates post procedure recovery and discharge.
  • Administers medications per physician orders.
  • Potential for conscious sedation during procedures.
  • Must be professional, cooperative and pleasant as is representative of our center.
  • Ability to work at other locations and overtime as needed
  • Must be open to cross training and learning other areas as needed

Physical setting:

  • Clinic/Outpatient

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

 

Requirements
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with an RN degree and Active License.
  • BLS mandatory
  • ACLS preferred. May obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience: Preferably one year experience in an ASC setting. 
  • Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
Salary Description
$32.00-$40.00 per hour dependent on experience
