Description

 This is an hourly position in Manteno, IL. Serving as a direct point of contact for end user technical support. The role and responsibility will include hardware installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization's computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems that support daily business operations, including managing user accounts and access permissions, monitoring system health, applying software updates and patches, and maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures. The Systems Administrator works closely with other departments to support hardware and software needs, resolve technical issues, and ensure that systems remain compliant with organizational standards and security policies. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Requirements

  

Support & resolve help desk issues/tickets by gathering to identify needs, security, & industry best practice solutions.

Installs, configures, & deploys pc, server hardware, & software including operating systems, applications, & patches- (possible night & weekend work), to support & maintain effective service operations throughout HACO-US.

Supports, troubleshoots, repairs, & maintains server issues & security for enterprise & large-scale applications.

Provide Activity Directory Management assistance to staff in managing user & computer accounts.

Troubleshoots, review, & resolves blocked websites; performs various duties related to web filter management. 

Manages, deploys, configures, & maintains servers in a virtualized & traditional environment. 

Actively monitor systems & networks. Diagnose & resolve complex software & networking issues & automate routine tasks.

Provide support for device management (MDM), & application packaging.

 Installs PC & server hardware & components such as disks, memory, & other components, models, & test changes in a test environment before implementing them on production systems.

Supports HACO Culinary directory services infrastructure, including hardware configuration & upgrades, group architecture, account maintenance, & MFA authentication for network access.

Creates & maintains written & verbal procedures; prepares written technical documentations, training material, standards, reports, & other documents as assigned.

Evaluates systems & alternate solutions, develop functional specifications, standards, & requitements for hardware & software purchase & design to ensure optimum system & end-user performance. Make recommendations for changes & additional services.

Provides general networking & other technical support as needed.

Prepares & maintains various records & reports related to assigned activities.

In-depth technical experience with Office 365: Exchange Online, Teams, & SharePoint, including (management of user accounts, troubleshooting, & maintenance).

Attends & participates in meeting, conferences, & in-service training. 

Industry-standard best practices infrastructure principles, theories, & securities practices. 

Understanding of networking protocols & topology. Use network management software, including Active Directory & computer management software applications.

Image development & deployment, including application delivery, electronic inventory tracking.

Networking concepts, practices, & troubleshooting techniques. 

Knowledge & understanding of security, including user directory structures & group policy.

Develop functional specifications, standards, hardware & software purchase, & design requirements to assure optimum system & end-user performance. 

Understand & carry out oral & written instructions.

Communicate clearly & concisely, both oral & written.

Establish & maintain cooperative & effective working relationships with others.

Keep current with technology changes & learn new systems/network methodology.

Perform with constant interruptions. 

Meet schedules & timelines.

Other duties as assigned. 


  

B.S. Degree in Information Systems or other IT related certifications.

3-5 years’ IT experience with hardware & software application.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Analyze processes & identify problems & deliver solutions. 

  

10% travel may be required between manufacturing plants.

Experience, preferably in food manufacturing industry.

Business Acumen. 

Salary Description
$80,000 - $95,000
