Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Community, this position performs a variety of secretarial and administrative assistant duties. This position will serve as a receptionist at the Community Connect Center when in use. This position coordinates with the receptionist when scheduling campus facilities for events, workshops, and classes. This position provides essential support to the entire Community Department. This position supports The Cottonwood School, employees, parents, and the community by conveying information regarding school functions and procedures.

Additional Role-Specific Information
- Time Off: Full-time regular classified employees receive 23 paid non-workdays/holidays, 8 PTO days, and 12 Paid Sick Leave days per school year (July–June).

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a related field or position, demonstrating increasing independence and responsibility
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Chat, or similar tools)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at The Cottonwood School
- Associate's degree or completion of college coursework in a related field
- Basic proficiency in Canva or similar graphic creation software
