What You Can Expect Working in the Inside Sales Representative Position


The Inside Sales Representative   works diligently filling the sales funnel with validated opportunities and   developing future customer and partner relationships to increase the speed   and positive outcome of the sales cycle. Through communication, building and   maintaining relationships, answering incoming leads, and computer/software   applications (i.e., CRM and LinkedIn) you will further potential   opportunities through the sales funnel while building long term relationships   with future customers. Identified opportunities will ultimately be inputted   into the sales funnel through the sales process.


Responsibilities 


· Prospects, researches, and provides   information while documenting results in CRM database with clear and concise   notes along with setting up tasks for future follow up.

· Coordinates, communicates and consults with   big box retailer product specialty experts on appointment schedules and   potential customer leads.

· Communicates with prospective customers   concerning their storm shelter needs and educating them on products and   company capabilities. 

· Delivers on RDGS’s expectations of the 5 touch   (email, phone, and text) rule.

· Invoices and reports sales within RDGS’s CRM   system.

· Helps to maintain and cultivate a team culture   with communication and a positive attitude. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications


· Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3+ years related experience and/or training;    or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). 

· Ability to learn and navigate CRM systems and lead management tools such as Zoho Chat, Facebook, and other platforms.

· Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.

· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Partnership Management experience. 
  • Inside sales experience. 
  • Customer service representative experience. 
  • Business-to-consumer (B2C) sales experience.
