Advanced Air is looking for an HVAC Install Manager who wants to own a department, not just supervise one. This is a P&L-level role. You’ll run residential HVAC installation end to end: the crews, the board, the margin, and the workmanship standard that puts our name on homes across the Gila Valley. You’ll be measured on gross margin, quality, and how your people grow, and you’ll get the authority and support to move those numbers.

What You’ll Own:

• The Number: beat budgeted monthly gross margin dollars in Residential HVAC Installation
• The Standard: beat monthly quality control KPIs, eliminate go-backs, and run weekly white-glove post-install inspections
• The Budget: partner with branch leadership on a monthly operating budget that beats branch goals
• The Cash: keep A/R under 5% of monthly department revenue
• The Costs: monitor material, equipment, and payroll spend daily; approve all department invoices; and control overtime through weekly payroll updates
• The Board: run the 3-day install board and lead the daily in-person huddle to review yesterday and plan the next three days
• The Customer: review install satisfaction daily and resolve issues the same day
• The Team: hire, train, coach, document discipline, and terminate when needed, and enforce the Employee Handbook consistently
• The Growth: hold monthly one-on-ones with every teammate on goals and scorecards, and do weekly ride-alongs to sharpen performance
• The Pipeline: join monthly staffing planning and block time to interview, so you hire well and keep turnover low
• Safety: own all safety training, processes, and reporting; report every injury or accident to the GM immediately; and protect the branch from liability
• The Culture: communicate clearly, solve problems fast, and protect your team’s work-life balance
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• 3+ years as a supervisor or manager in a service industry operation, with a proven record of beating revenue goals
• Hands-on experience with job costing, forecasting, and operational P&L
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of local business and employment law
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfort with a tablet, a smartphone, and GPS
• A neat, professional presence, strong people skills, and a drive to exceed client expectations
• Insurable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Where You’ll Work:
You’ll split time between the office and the field. The role involves occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and lifting 5–10 lbs. Good visual acuity is required. You’ll need flexibility to work outside normal hours when the job calls for it.
