The position: We are looking for is Logistics Line Lead. They will be responsible for delegating, assigning, and developing the logistics material handlers, forklift operators, receivers and other logistics staff. They ensure that all safety and company rules are being followed, track absenteeism, submit payroll for their direct reports and work with other departments on defects, deviations, process errors. The Day shift logistics Line Lead will be the onsite trainer for day shift new hires and supplemental training for existing operators.

Requirements

Characteristics:

  • Excellent attendance records are required.
  • Strong ability to follow processes and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and with limited team interaction.
  • The ability to lead/interact/delegate to a team in a diverse manufacturing environment.


Experience:

  • Past or Present Supervisor experience
  • Manufacturing/ Production Team Lead
  • Proven leadership in AP, Quality, Offline repair encouraged to apply.
  • Warehouse experience a plus
  • Ability to operate stand up, sit down, tuggers etc.

Our expectations:

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • You have worked in a production environment for a total of 2 years at least and you preferably have been in a leadership role for at least one year throughout your career already.
  • You have excellent attendance records and zero safety incidents.
  • You don't mind being on your feet for the duration of your shift lifting parts up to a weight of 50 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to motivate a team.
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Can pass a drug screening.

Working conditions:

  • Indoor/Outdoor work areas.
  • The ability to stand and or walk for duration of shift.
  • Exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, possible contaminants, hazardous equipment.
