As our Accounting Clerk, you'll work under the direction of the CFO to support the day-to-day financial operations that keep our programs running - from accounts payable and credit-card transactions to deposits, reconciliations, and audit support. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, enjoy working with numbers, and take pride in accurate work, we'd love to have you join our team.


What You'll Do

· Support the CFO and Accounting team in maintaining accurate, timely, and well-organized financial operations.

· Process accounts payable vouchers and checks accurately and timely.

· Enter and reconcile credit-card transactions and statements.

· Assist with bank deposits, cash receipts, and entry into the accounting system.

· Assist with account reconciliations and help identify and resolve discrepancies.

· Support the annual external audit by compiling requested documentation and information.

· Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential financial records and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

· Accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferred; basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer applications; accounting software experience preferred.

· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

· Commitment to confidentiality and responsible stewardship of agency resources; must be bondable and insurable.
