**This position is for 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)**
Summary
The CNC Setup Technician performs machine setups, troubleshooting machine processes, and assists machine operators with tool offsets and tool changes as necessary on assigned CNC machines.
Functions
Job Specific Responsibilities
· Adjusts Tooling, Work Holding, and Part Stops to control stock and tool movements.
· Troubleshooting of machine processing issues and working with Manufacturing Engineer Technicians or Maintenance Personnel when needed.
· Monitor and ensure back up tooling and supplies are available at each machine or in inventory.
· Review Machine and/or Work Center to ensure the required Tools (including PPE), Process Job Book, Plex access, and Raw Material(s) are correct and present.
· Changeover of any Assigned Machine or Work Center by the proper removal and storage in the correct location of all previous Job Tooling, Process Job Book, Raw Material(s), and any other prior requirements.
· Assist with the Training and Development of Machine Operators.
· Work with Manufacturing and Process Engineering along with other Cross Functional Departments on Continuous Improvement Projects.
· Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all cribs used for the job such as the Mill Crib, Lathe Crib, Maintenance Crib, and General Toolroom.
· Operate Machines when necessary to support Production, Engineering, Maintenance, or Quality.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Overtime may be required.
Eligibility Qualifications (Minimum)
· High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school preferred
· Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
· 2 years’ experience setting up CNC Mills and/or CNC Lathes
· Ability to read blueprints
· Understanding of production procedures
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
· Physical stamina for production work
Work Environment
· Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and temperature changes. PPE required
