About the Role


We are currently seeking safety-focused overnight drivers to join our team of Service Professionals, with no prior fueling experience required. In addition to base pay and bonuses, Service Professionals receive excellent benefits and stock options, making them owners in Booster’s future success.


As a Service Professional , you are responsible for safely delivering fuel to commercial and industrial fleet customers while learning Booster’s operational standards, systems, and safety practices. This role focuses on foundational operational development, safe execution, and delivering excellent customer service.


Service Professional employees perform daily vehicle inspections, complete fueling operations safely and efficiently, utilize company technology systems, and develop the operational knowledge required for advancement within Booster.


Core Responsibilities


Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all Booster safety procedures and operational standards
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Perform tanker safety checks before operating equipment
  • Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company requirements
  • Participate in hazardous materials handling and spill response training
  • Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Immediately report safety concerns or incidents

Fuel Delivery Operations

  • Safely deliver fuel to customer fleet vehicles
  • Complete assigned routes accurately and efficiently
  • Perform at market expectations at fills per shift and gallons per hour
  • Maintain professionalism at customer locations
  • Ensure fueling accuracy and operational quality standards

Technology & Systems

  • Utilize company applications and tablets for route management and fueling operations
  • Learn routing, navigation, and operational systems
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and communication
  • Utilize company-approved technology, communication platforms, mobile devices, and operational systems to perform assigned responsibilities accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.

Equipment & Mechanical Awareness

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of fueling equipment and tanker systems
  • Monitor oil levels, pump systems, hydraulic systems, and related equipment
  • Identify and escalate mechanical concerns appropriately
Requirements


Required Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid Class A, B, or C commercial driver’s license
  • Tanker endorsement required
  • Hazmat endorsement required
  • Air brake endorsement required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain:
    • DOT medical card
    • TSA clearance
    • Fuel terminal access approval

Experience

  • 6+ months of recent commercial driving experience preferred
  • TWIC card (as required by region) preferred (must be eligible to obtain within 30 days of employment)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to consistently push, pull, and lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to repeatedly enter and exit tanker vehicles throughout shift
  • Ability to climb stairs repeatedly during shifts
  • Ability to operate fuel hoses and fueling equipment continuously
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Technical Expectations


Mechanical

  • Basic ability to identify and troubleshoot tanker and fueling equipment issues
  • Foundational understanding of pump systems and fueling operations

Technology

  • Basic knowledge of operational applications and tablet systems
  • Foundational understanding of navigation and wireless communication systems
