Now Hiring: Aspen Gallery Sales Manager

The Aspen Gallery Sales Manager leads the daily execution of sales operations, team performance, and client experience within M.S. Rau’s Aspen gallery. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Sales, this role serves as the on-site sales and gallery leader, ensuring alignment across sales execution, gallery presentation, operational coordination, and the elevated service standards of the M.S. Rau brand.

You will lead and develop the sales team, cultivate meaningful relationships with collectors and luxury-market professionals, and play a direct role in driving gallery performance and M.S. Rau’s continued growth in Aspen – all while representing one of the world’s most respected names in fine art, antiques, and jewelry.


Your Role Will Include

  • Leading the daily execution of sales strategies and client engagement initiatives to support gallery revenue goals and overall business objectives
  • Serving as the on-site sales and gallery lead while reinforcing high standards for presentation, service, and team performance
  • Monitoring sales activity, pipeline development, client engagement, and CRM accuracy through systems including Salesforce
  • Coaching sales team members on luxury sales techniques, client follow-up, product knowledge, and elevated service standards
  • Ensuring every client and visitor receives a polished, personalized, and exceptional luxury experience consistent with the M.S. Rau brand
  • Supporting recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling coordination, and performance management for Aspen gallery sales staff
  • Partnering closely with Operations on gallery workflow, logistics, installations, inventory movement, and client support
  • Collaborating with executive leadership on gallery performance, staffing needs, sales initiatives, and opportunities within the Aspen market
  • Identifying opportunities to improve sales execution, gallery workflow, operational efficiency, and client engagement
  • Maintaining expert-level knowledge of gallery inventory, including provenance, historical significance, market positioning, and key selling points
  • Coordinating with internal departments on deliveries, installations, shipping, and post-sale support to ensure seamless client satisfaction
  • Building and maintaining relationships with collectors, designers, advisors, and luxury market professionals in Aspen and globally
  • Staying informed on market trends, competitor activity, and client preferences within the luxury art and collectibles industry
  • Supporting gallery events, client engagement initiatives, market-specific outreach, and strategic priorities within the Aspen market
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of sales management experience, including leading teams and executing sales strategies
  • 10+ years of experience selling luxury products or services, ideally in the six- to seven-figure transaction range
  • Strong track record of building a pipeline, negotiating and closing high-value sales, and cultivating long-term client relationships
  • Proven ability to coach and develop sales professionals, including transforming underperforming team members into top contributors
  • Demonstrated success optimizing sales processes and systems, including Salesforce and Gong
  • Strong leadership, client service, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Executive-level communication skills and polished professional presence; relationships within luxury, art, design, or collector communities preferred

Compensation, Work Schedule & Travel

  • Competitive base salary of $110k to $150k and performance-based bonus opportunity. Anticipated total annual compensation is $200,000+, based on individual and gallery performance.
  • Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
  • This position requires a flexible schedule, including rotating weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events as needed. The Aspen Gallery operates five to seven days per week.
  • Occasional local and overnight travel is required for trade shows, client visits, industry events, and travel to the New Orleans gallery as needed.
