Description

The Pricing Analyst for GC Americas is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring pricing strategies for our dental products across channels and customer segments. This role drives margin optimization and competitive positioning by combining cost analysis, market intelligence, and data-driven insights. The analyst partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Finance to support profitable growth in a highly competitive dental market. 

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pricing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and maintain pricing models for core segment groups.
  • Analyze cost structures, margins, lifecycle stages, and volume drivers to recommend optimal pricing.
  • Support pricing decisions for new product launches, line extensions, and product discontinuations.
  • Evaluate and recommend price increases, regional pricing strategies, and channel-specific pricing.
  • Support Contract review of pricing communication, processes and changes

Sales & Channel Support

  • Support Sales with deal-level pricing analysis, discount guidance, and customer-specific pricing requests.
  • Analyze distributor, dealer, and DSO pricing agreements to ensure compliance with margin targets.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct ongoing competitive price benchmarking across major dental manufacturers and distributors.
  • Assess market dynamics including consolidation, DSOs, and emerging dental technologies.
  • Track reimbursement, procurement, and purchasing trends impacting pricing decisions.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Build and maintain pricing dashboards, margin reports, and contribution analyses.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and revenue planning activities.
  • Analyze price-volume-mix (PVM) impact and explain variances versus plan.

Data, Systems & Governance

  • Maintain pricing accuracy within systems
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations and Finance to improve pricing processes and controls.
  • Support pricing governance, approvals, and documentation of methodologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, or related field
  • 3–6+ years of pricing, financial analysis, or commercial finance experience
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with large datasets
  • Ability to communicate complex pricing insights to cross-functional teams

Working Environment:

Professional office setting with in-office work required Monday through Thursday each week with Friday serving as a remote-work day for focused work, evaluation of data and delivery on project tasks to meet established deadlines or fulfill functional work cadence.
