Work Location: Remote - U.S. Based. Candidates within driving distance of our Reston, VA office are preferred for occasional in-person meetings, but proximity to Reston is not required.
Duration: Full Time
Travel: Occasional travel for client requests and/or XTIVIA in-office meetings, up to 25%.


How you will make a difference
XTIVIA is looking for an ERP Project Manager to lead client-facing ERP implementation projects from planning through delivery. In this role, you will manage project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and client expectations while working closely with functional and technical teams to keep multiple projects moving successfully.


You will serve as a key connection between our clients and internal teams, ensuring projects remain on track, issues are addressed proactively, and stakeholders have clear visibility throughout the implementation lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery: Lead ERP projects using effective project management practices to achieve project goals on time and within budget while proactively identifying and managing risks.
  • Client Communication: Communicate project status, client readiness, business and technical issues, risks, decisions, and resolutions to clients, project teams, and management.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and funding expenditures while helping define, acquire, and allocate the staff and resources necessary to accomplish project objectives.
  • Financial Forecasting: Accurately forecast project labor hours and resource needs to support revenue planning and overall project performance.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Use project management, financial, and accounting tools to identify and assess project risks and coordinate issue tracking through resolution.
  • Project Documentation: Develop and maintain clear project documentation, diagrams, status reports, meeting materials, and other communications needed to support successful delivery.
  • Resource Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure appropriate XTIVIA resources are available to support project needs and drive recommendations through implementation.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout consulting engagements, with a focus on communication, trust, and client satisfaction.
  • Change Control: Coordinate client change control processes to effectively manage changes to project scope, timelines, resources, and expectations.
  • Project & Process Improvement: Contribute to project analysis and process improvement activities, identifying opportunities to strengthen project delivery and client outcomes.
  • Progress Reporting: Monitor and report on project progress while keeping stakeholders informed of milestones, dependencies, risks, and next steps.
  • Concurrent Project Management: Effectively manage multiple client projects and competing priorities at the same time.
Requirements

What you bring to your new team

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience working with ERP software as a consultant and/or Project Manager.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a client-facing project management role.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementation projects and managing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Strong customer relationship skills and experience working directly with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate comfortably with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with functional, technical, and business teams.
  • Proficiency with G Suite and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar systems.

  • Experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV implementation projects.
  • Experience supporting government contractors or GovCon ERP implementations, including familiarity with DCAA-compliant financial environments, project accounting, and contract types such as Time & Materials (T&M), cost-plus, and fixed price.
  • PMP, DASM, Agile/Scrum Master, or another relevant project management certification.
  • Experience working within an ERP consulting or professional services organization.

This position has an expected salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 annually.

You will also be eligible for the XTIVIA employee bonus plan.
