Chesapeake Climate Control has an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Installer specializing in new construction homes.

Job Overview

The HVAC Installer will be responsible for the full installation of HVAC systems in newly constructed residential properties. This position requires hands-on mechanical skill, adherence to energy code standards, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. The ideal candidate is a reliable and experienced installer with a strong work ethic and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Install complete HVAC systems in residential new construction homes
  • Ensure compliance with IECC energy codes and industry best practices
  • Maintain safe and clean work environments in accordance with company safety policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and project managers
  • Manage and transport required tools and materials to job sites
  • Adapt to varied weather conditions and evolving site conditions
  • Represent Chesapeake Climate Control professionally at all times


Requirements
  •  2–4 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience in residential new construction (REQUIRED)
  • Extensive knowledge of IECC energy codes and HVAC installation practices
  • Must have own hand tools and reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively within a team
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and manage physically demanding tasks
  • Must demonstrate a “No Excuses, Make It Happen” attitude
