Assembler
Description

Skylift is seeking a motivated and dependable Assembler/Upfit Technician to join our production team. This hands-on position involves assembling, installing, and upfitting trucks and backyard easement equipment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.Use hand tools and power tools to assemble machines and equipment.

  • Position and align components for assembly, either manually or with the use of hoists and cranes.
  • Fasten and install piping, fixtures, wiring, and electrical components.
  • Read and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and assembly procedures.
  • Perform accurate measurements and calculations to ensure proper fit and function of components.
  • Meet daily production and quality goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to read measurements accurately and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, construction, or equipment upfit experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess strong mechanical ability.
  • Must be hands-on oriented and comfortable working with tools and equipment.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
