Senior Project Manager, Capital Delivery
US | Fully Remote
Travel: Approximately 35–40%
$110,000 - $125,000
About Us
For airports, for partners, for people. We are Cavu. Founded by MAG (Manchester Airports Group) and backed by over 80 years of aviation expertise, we’re striving to revolutionize airport travel, creating value for passengers and the businesses that serve them.
Why Cavu?
Our name is taken from the aviation meteorology term, ‘Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited’ (Cavu), which designates the perfect flying condition, where the ceiling is more than 10,000ft and the visibility is more than ten miles.
More than just a name, Cavu is our mindset. It represents all that we stand for. Our proud aviation heritage, our drive to push boundaries, and the very essence of what we do: creating seamless, enjoyable travel experiences for airport passengers.
From our origins at Manchester Airport in the UK, we expanded to the US in 2015, where Escape Lounges has become the top-rated operator of common-use lounges in North America, as measured by customer reviews on Google, TripAdvisor, Facebook and Yelp.
What’s the role?
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager, Capital Delivery to lead a portfolio of complex airport lounge and hospitality developments across Cavu’s growing North American portfolio.
You’ll take ownership of projects from award and initial business case validation through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operational handover, close-out and warranty management.
Acting as Cavu’s senior owner representative, you’ll build strong relationships with airport authorities, landlords, airline and commercial partners, consultants, contractors and internal teams. You’ll ensure projects are commercially sound, effectively governed and delivered in line with agreed scope, budget, schedule, quality and operational requirements.
You’ll also lead project teams, support key investment decisions and help strengthen Cavu’s wider capital delivery capability through consistent governance, project controls and continuous improvement.
This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the US, with approximately 35–40% travel required for site visits, project meetings and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of airport lounge and hospitality projects from award through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and close-out.
- Take overall accountability for project scope, investment, budgets, schedules, quality, risk, benefits and operational readiness.
- Translate Cavu’s growth priorities and airport commitments into clear project delivery strategies, governance plans and integrated roadmaps.
- Lead projects through investment gates and executive reviews, clearly presenting recommendations, trade-offs and decisions required.
- Act as Cavu’s senior day-to-day owner representative and lead relationships with airport authorities, landlords, airlines, consultants, contractors, vendors and regulatory stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams including Growth, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Brand, Technology, Procurement, Legal and Property to secure alignment and timely decisions.
- Lead negotiations and resolve issues relating to scope, access, approvals, contracts, change, schedule, cost and operational constraints.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, contingencies, change control, contract administration and final account closure.
- Ensure procurement and contracting strategies deliver value, quality, schedule certainty and strong supplier performance.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and establish clear responsibilities, performance expectations and decision-making routes.
- Provide direction, coaching and development to project managers and other members of the wider delivery team.
- Maintain clear portfolio-level visibility of project risks, interdependencies, resource requirements and delivery priorities.
- Drive consistent project governance, controls, reporting, assurance and risk-management standards across the portfolio.
- Capture lessons learned and lead improvements that strengthen project delivery, supplier performance and future ways of working.
What will make you successful in this role?

- Proven success leading multiple concurrent, high-value projects across investment, budget, schedule, contracts, risk, quality and operational readiness.
- Experience managing senior relationships with airport authorities, landlords, airlines, consultants, contractors, vendors and regulatory bodies.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, procurement, change control and contract administration.
- Experience leading executive governance forums and presenting recommendations, options and investment decisions to senior stakeholders.
