Join Our Clinical Team!


We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and self-motivated Part-Time Site-Based Mental Health Clinician to join our growing clinical team. This position is primarily based at the Boise School District. We are currently recruiting for Horizon Elementary and Trail Wind Elementary; other schools may be added in the future.


We welcome dedicated clinicians who are passionate about supporting youth and families in their communities and making a meaningful impact through accessible mental health services!


In this role, you will collaborate closely with staff at School, as well as our agency's Front Office team, to identify students and families who may benefit from therapeutic services. Counseling services will be provided on-site at the school(s), allowing you to build meaningful relationships and support the mental health needs of youth within their school and community environments.

The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is comfortable managing a flexible schedule based on student and family needs. 


This position is currently part-time.


Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Clinical Director.

Requirements

  Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of client needs, functioning, and behaviors through interviews, evaluations, and direct observation.
  • Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral health concerns, including anxiety, depression, addiction, developmental challenges, social and interpersonal difficulties, and behavioral concerns.
  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality, cost-effective client care while adhering to all CHCS policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
  • Collaborate with agency staff, clinicians, and school administrator(s) to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitor treatment progress and document outcomes as clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, transfer/termination summaries, and other required records.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and multidisciplinary treatment planning activities.
  • Provide consultation and professional collaboration with external providers and professionals involved in client care.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups, educational workshops, and other clinical programming as assigned.
  • Maintain licensure requirements and continuing education necessary to support professional competency and compliance.
  • Adhere to the Ethical Standards and Professional Codes of Conduct established by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), American Counseling Association (ACA), or other applicable licensing boards.
  • Follow all agency policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Current clinical licensure or license eligibility in Idaho.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with schools, community partners, and agency staff.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical, and client-centered care.

Additional Requirement for Non-Independently Licensed Clinicians

  • Attend required clinical supervision and maintain all documentation necessary to meet licensure and professional development requirements. Clinical supervision is provided by CHCS.

Salary Description
$30 - $45 per hour
