Overview
Client First Technologies is currently seeking an Oracle APEX Developer to build and maintain custom tools, including dashboards, workflow automation, and reporting interfaces, to enable our federal government customer to manage large enterprise agreement (EA) performance, licensing, cost, and compliance in real time. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize APEX applications from the ground up, including interactive reports, dashboards, forms, and workflow automation supporting EA governance and reporting needs
- Write efficient, secure PL/SQL and SQL, including stored procedures, packages, triggers, and performance-tuned queries
- Build and maintain relational data models supporting EA cost tracking, entitlement management, and utilization reporting
- Implement REST integrations, interactive grids, dynamic actions, and workflow automation to modernize legacy customer tracking tools
- Coordinate with architects, DBAs, and functional stakeholders (Program Managers, Business Analysts) to translate EA governance and reporting requirements into scalable Oracle-based solutions
- Support Azure-based tooling and Power Platform / Dynamics / Dataverse integrations where EA data intersects with Microsoft-hosted systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the APEX and Oracle ecosystem
- Develop applications compliant with government security standards
- Ensure data integrity across cost, licensing, and entitlement datasets used in EA decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems or related technical discipline required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience
- Demonstrated hands-on experience building production APEX applications, including native components and custom PL/SQL logic
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL performance optimization
- Experience with REST integration, interactive grids, and dynamic actions in APEX
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure and/or Power Platform (Dynamics, Dataverse)
- Experience in Federal or security-conscious environments
- Experience with software asset management and license management
Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Occasional travel and overtime may be required
