Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our growing dealership team. This role is critical to supporting our Service Department, technicians, and retail customers by ensuring accurate parts sourcing, inventory control, and exceptional customer service. Whether you've worked in a dealership parts department, retail parts store, or another customer service role, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career.



Compensation

  • $40K - $70K annually, based on experience



Responsibilities

  • Assist Service Advisors, Technicians, and customers with identifying and sourcing automotive parts
  • Accurately look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and DMS software
  • Monitor stock levels and anticipate parts needs before they arise
  • Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and core charges
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with cycle counts
  • Receive, stock, and organize parts deliveries
  • Communicate order status and backorders clearly and professionally
  • Keep the parts department clean, organized, and compliant with dealership standards
  • Work closely with the Service and Sales departments to support overall operations
  • Recommend and promote parts and accessories to customers
Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in automotive/manufacturing parts, retail, or customer service preferred
  • Parts advising experience in a dealership or retail parts store strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Customer-service mindset with clear, professional communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer and typing skills required
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some Saturday availability may be required
