Clarity Partners is seeking a Desktop Analyst local to Chicago, IL to lead desktop support operations for a client of ours. In this position, you will manage desktop tickets and work orders, dispatch and guide desktop analysts across clinic locations, and oversee hardware and software lifecycle management, equipment moves, and license administration, while collaborating with the client on infrastructure and network issues. This position requires regular travel to clinic locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage desktop tickets and work orders for the client, assigning and following up on service requests.
  • Dispatch and guide desktop analysts supporting client clinic locations.
  • Coordinate the receipt, allocation, and installation of new PCs, printers, laptops, and software with the client's Finance team.
  • Coordinate the client's equipment moves and maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records.
  • Oversee software license management and software installation for client-purchased software.
  • Collaborate with client IT and the technology team to resolve IT infrastructure and network issues.
  • Document procedures for scanning documents from multifunction copiers to email.
  • Document and oversee support procedures for Wyse thin-client devices deployed in clinics for Cerner access.
  • Initiate corrective action and provide instructions to resolve end users' hardware and software issues.
  • Contribute to and provide reporting on the client's desktop support activities, including coordination of Cornerstone equipment.
  • Provide Level 1 through 3 day-to-day IT desktop support for desktops, laptops, Wyse devices, printing, wireless, and networking.
  • Provide desktop support involving Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Implement HIS departmental projects and system rollouts.
  • Organize and prioritize the daily desktop support workload and guide the team to complete it.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a desktop analyst in an IT environment, including resolving end users' hardware and software issues.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree, MCSE, A+, and Microsoft Office certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and resolve complex problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience coordinating small to medium technical teams.
  • Ability to rebuild, reformat, and troubleshoot Windows-based computers.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across varied customer levels.
  • Self-motivated team player able to build positive working relationships across organizational lines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel regularly to approximately 15 off-site clinic locations.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Clarity is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For the Desktop Analyst, the base salary range $55,000 - $65,000. The range represents a good faith estimate that Clarity reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of posting. Compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
