The Program Analyst supports the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Office of Security and Integrity (OSI), Logistics Management Division (LMD), which manages the USCIS personal property program, responsible for the excessing and disposal of USCIS personal property and maintains accountability of USICS property across the agency. LMD also oversees the USCIS fleet vehicle program; and manages the USCIS Transit Subsidy Program, and USCIS mail operations.
Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Technical Writing and Reporting:
- Prepare periodic reports and presentations by compiling text, graphics, and data from multiple sources into a cohesive product.
- Assist in drafting Branch-level documentation, such as process, instructional, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user manuals.
- Create ad-hoc reports for analysis and presentations.
- Create process map/flow diagrams, flow charts, and project plans for key processes identified by pertinent branch chief.
- Prepare requirements documents for use in system IT development.
- Research, review, and map various branch reporting and database systems.
- Research current available approved IT systems and provide analysis of options to Branch Chief and Special Assistant to gain efficiencies and improve current processes.
- Develop system requirements documentation to support branch’s future IT system efforts.
- Develop and validate techniques/methods for various query results and present to RICB team.
- Perform ad-hoc system queries and data analysis.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Associate degree or higher
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience (2+ years) in emergency management and other safety and security protocols and disciplines
- Knowledge and experience (2+ years) in program management principles and disciplines, including business process remodeling/reengineering and project leadership
- Ability to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal and credit history background check
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government suitability determination/security clearance
Work Environment:
- Full-time position, Monday – Friday
- Office environment but may also include other work environments as required
- Onsite at government facility in Camp Springs, MD
