That’s Where You Come in as a Senior ESOP Strategy Consultant


A Senior ESOP Strategy Consultant services our clients by providing forecasts and recommendations in the operation of their ESOP. 


Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

The primary role for this position is the preparation of ESOP repurchase obligation studies, which includes:

  • Discussing assumptions used in the study
  • Reviewing results with client
  • Providing consulting on managing repurchase obligation solutions 

The Strategy Consultant may also:

  • Assist with new ESOP pre-transaction consulting and plan re-engineering. 
  • Assist the Business Development Team – attending proposal meetings and calls with prospects
  • Participate in internal and external speaking opportunities (internal training sessions, client webinars, and ESOP conferences)
  • Write articles for publication  
Requirements

Skills/Abilities 

  • Excellent written/oral communication, organization, and client service skills required.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and set priorities with minimal supervision while effectively managing a large project list.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Interpret ESOP legal documents 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 10+ years retirement industry experience with strong background in ESOP knowledge
  • Obtain CPA, QKA, QPA, or equivalent certification

The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $145,000. This range represents the anticipated pay for this role across multiple U.S. labor markets and is intended as a general guideline.


Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, relevant experience, work location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and current business considerations.
