The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations, mobile equipment, and trailer repairs. This role ensures that the plant’s equipment and facilities are maintained at optimal working conditions, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and minimizing downtime. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team, including a Maintenance Supervisor and leads across shifts, and manage relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and effective maintenance activities.
1. Supervise and lead all maintenance processes, mobile equipment, and trailer repair operations.
2. Track maintenance expenses and oversee the department budget.
3. Maintain all machinery and equipment to ensure they meet operating standards.
4. Develop and implement maintenance procedures for efficient operations.
5. Plan, manage, and oversee repair and installation activities for plant equipment and facilities.
6. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and resolve them promptly.
7. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures across the department.
8. Assign repair schedules, evaluate cost estimates, and allocate workloads.
9. Maintain daily progress reports, maintenance logs, and other necessary documentation.
10. Check electrical and hydraulic systems for functionality and safety.
11. Monitor and maintain equipment inventory, placing orders when necessary.
12. Manage contractor and service provider relationships to ensure timely support.
13. Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
14. Support snow removal efforts during winter months as required.
