Position Summary
Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead a Contract Field Team (CFT) providing aircraft maintenance support for C/KC-130T aircraft at NAS Jacksonville, Florida, with the capability to rapidly deploy to operational Government locations worldwide.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Site Supervisor will provide overall aircraft maintenance leadership, supervision, production oversight, and technical coordination for assigned C/KC-130T maintenance operations. This position serves as the senior contractor representative at the maintenance site and is responsible for coordinating the work of Aircraft Mechanic III and Aircraft Mechanic II personnel while ensuring maintenance activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable technical publications, Government requirements, customer direction, and established maintenance procedures.
The Site Supervisor will oversee maintenance operations involving airframe, powerplant, avionics, inspections, troubleshooting, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, and aircraft readiness requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily C/KC-130T aircraft maintenance operations, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Provide direct supervision and technical leadership to assigned Aircraft Mechanic III and Aircraft Mechanic II personnel.
- Assign, prioritize, and monitor aircraft maintenance workloads based on aircraft status, mission requirements, maintenance priorities, and established production schedules.
- Lead maintenance teams performing airframe, powerplant, avionics, structural, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and aircraft systems maintenance as applicable to assigned personnel.
- Provide technical direction and troubleshooting support for complex aircraft maintenance problems.
- Ensure maintenance personnel properly interpret and utilize applicable NAVAIR, NAMP, aircraft-specific technical manuals, maintenance instructions, engineering documentation, and other approved technical publications.
- Coordinate and oversee aircraft inspections, component replacement, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, functional checks, and return-to-service activities.
- Review aircraft maintenance requirements and coordinate manpower, tooling, equipment, materials, and technical resources necessary to accomplish assigned work.
- Monitor aircraft maintenance status and provide accurate production, aircraft readiness, manpower, and maintenance status reports to Government and company leadership.
- Review aircraft forms, logs, work orders, maintenance documentation, and other records for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure required aircraft maintenance documentation and logbook entries are completed in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Coordinate with Government maintenance representatives, Quality Assurance, Maintenance Control, engineering personnel, supply personnel, and other customer organizations.
- Provide technical support and coordination for Maintenance Engineering Changes (MEC), Estimated Cost of Damage (ECOD), modifications, Technical Directives, and other aircraft maintenance requirements, as applicable.
- Identify recurring maintenance problems, production delays, manpower issues, and material constraints and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure assigned personnel maintain required aircraft qualifications, certifications, training, and currency.
- Monitor compliance with aircraft maintenance safety requirements, FOD prevention, tool control, hazardous material procedures, environmental requirements, and applicable Government safety policies.
- Ensure proper accountability and control of Government-furnished property, aircraft support equipment, tools, test equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Assist with aircraft maintenance planning, pre-induction requirements, maintenance meetings, and production coordination.
- Provide technical guidance to lower-level mechanics and ensure work is performed in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Support aircraft recovery, contingency maintenance, and rapid-response Contract Field Team operations.
- Coordinate and support deployment of maintenance personnel and equipment to operational Government locations worldwide.
- Ensure personnel are prepared to meet deployment requirements, including passports, visas, immunizations, security/country clearances, and other requirements identified by the applicable task order.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the C/KC-130T aircraft maintenance mission.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressively responsible aircraft maintenance experience, with significant experience supporting military or commercial aircraft maintenance operations.
- Demonstrated experience supervising or leading aircraft maintenance personnel, preferably in a military aviation, depot, field team, MRO, or similar maintenance environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading maintenance operations involving airframe, powerplant, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, structural, or avionics systems.
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance processes, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, modification, and return-to-service requirements.
- Experience interpreting and applying aircraft technical manuals, maintenance instructions, engineering documentation, drawings, schematics, and other technical publications.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing aircraft maintenance requirements and allocate personnel and resources to meet aircraft production and delivery schedules.
- Experience providing technical guidance and oversight to Mechanic II and Mechanic III-level maintenance personnel.
- Experience reviewing aircraft forms, maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Government representatives, customers, engineers, quality personnel, and maintenance leadership.
- Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience supporting C-130, KC-130, C/KC-130T, or comparable military transport/tanker aircraft is highly preferred.
- U.S. military aircraft maintenance experience is highly preferred.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required by the contract.
- Must possess a valid U.S. passport.
- Must be willing and able to rapidly deploy worldwide in support of Government requirements.
- Must be able to obtain required visas, immunizations, country clearances, security clearances, and other deployment documentation.
- Must meet all applicable Government, customer, and task-order-specific qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Maintenance Chief, Crew Chief, Senior Mechanic, or equivalent leadership position.
- Direct experience with C/KC-130T aircraft.
- Experience supporting Contract Field Teams (CFT), OCONUS aviation operations, depot-level maintenance, or expeditionary aircraft maintenance.
- Experience coordinating multi-discipline aircraft maintenance teams.
- Experience with aircraft maintenance production scheduling and readiness reporting.
- Experience supporting MEC, ECOD, Technical Directives, modifications, or engineering investigations.
- Prior U.S. military aviation maintenance leadership experience.
Physical & Deployment Requirements
- Ability to work around aircraft, maintenance equipment, flight-line environments, and industrial work areas.
- Ability to work extended hours, shifts, weekends, and holidays when required by mission requirements.
- Ability to work in austere, deployed, and environmentally challenging locations.
- Ability to travel internationally and remain deployed for extended periods as required by the task order.
- Ability to meet all Government and host-country deployment requirements.
