Plumbing Apprentice

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential plumbing service calls, repairs, and installations
- Support tasks such as diagnosing issues, replacing fixtures, water heater installs, drain cleaning, and leak repairs
- Learn and follow company processes, safety protocols, and service standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and service vehicle
- Protect customer property and leave every work area clean at the end of the call
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Participate in ongoing training and development to progress toward full licensure
- Follow all state and local plumbing codes and compliance requirements
- Provide support during after-hours or weekend shifts as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
- Texas Apprentice Plumbing License, or ability to register with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) — Midway Plumbing will assist with registration
- Strong interest in the plumbing trade and a desire to grow with Midway Plumbing
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in crawl spaces, attics, and tight areas
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
