RunBuggy's end-to-end platform connects car shippers and haulers in real time, eliminating the friction of traditional load boards and costly custom software. For shippers, RunBuggy integrates directly into existing management systems, reducing transportation costs and accelerating delivery timelines. For transporters, we offer a smarter, more profitable way to find, accept, and manage loads, all from a single app.

Since launching in 2019, RunBuggy has grown to over 190 team members, facilitated the movement of hundreds of thousands of vehicles, and built a network of more than 18,000 transportation companies across the U.S.

We're not just building a better logistics platform - we're redefining the future of automotive transportation.

About the Role:

You'll join the RunBuggy Sales team a fast-moving group, providing RunBuggy auto transport services to regional dealer groups, smaller digital retailers, DMS partnerships, and technology integrations (e.g., Cox/Dealertrack). Speed and volume are how we generate revenue, which means high-activity outbound, quick qualification, and fast time-to-close on the right deals.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll be key to the engine that keeps the pipeline moving. You'll prospect and qualify new business across regional dealer groups, digital retailers, and technology partnerships, and you'll close smaller/high-velocity deals directly - while partnering closely with Team Leaders and Sales Executive Leads on larger, more complex opportunities that need a field or specialist touch.

This is a from-the-ground-up opportunity: you'll help shape playbooks, messaging, and process as one of the first Inside Sales hires on this team.

If this opportunity aligns with your experience and interests, we invite you to continue reading. If not, we encourage you to explore our other open positions - we are always looking for talented professionals to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Prospect and build pipeline across an assigned account segment (regional dealer groups, digital retailers, DMS/tech partners) through outbound calls, email, and sequencing tools.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against a defined ICP, and book/hand off qualified meetings to your manager for larger or more complex accounts.
  • Close smaller, high-velocity deals independently — full cycle from qualification through contract and handoff to onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM (Zoho) — stage, next steps, forecasted close dates
  • Partner with Sales Director and specialist team members (e.g., Fleet, Major/Enterprise support) to route and prioritize opportunities correctly.
  • Hit weekly/monthly activity and pipeline targets while continuously refining outreach based on what's converting.
  • Represent RunBuggy's value proposition clearly — vehicle transport as a controllable, often-overlooked cost and reliability lever for dealers and retailers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

What You Bring to the Team by Way of Skills and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of inside sales, SDR, or full-cycle sales experience (automotive, logistics, SaaS, or marketplace platforms a plus, not required).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfort with high-volume outbound activity (calls, email sequencing) and a track record of hitting activity/pipeline metrics.
  • Ability to run a qualification conversation and know when to close vs. when to hand off.
  • CRM discipline - you keep your pipeline clean without being told twice.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable talking to dealer principals, ops managers, and technology partners.
  • Coachable, competitive attitude, energized by a fast-paced, velocity-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with DMS platforms, dealer/auction operations, or fleet remarketing.
