Heartline Staffing is recruiting an Operating Room Registered Nurse for an onsite surgical services position in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This role requires direct Operating Room circulating experience and supports orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci robotic, and some OB/GYN procedures.

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE / CALL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have 2+ years of Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN experience. Pre-Op, Post-Op, Endoscopy/GI, and PACU-only RN experience cannot be considered for the required OR experience.
Call is required 1–2 shifts per week with a 30-minute callback response requirement.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Operating Room includes five ORs supporting a range of surgical services, primarily orthopedic and general surgery with some OB/GYN procedures. Three ORs operate full time, and team members may also float to Endoscopy. The surgical program also utilizes the da Vinci Surgical System for robotic-assisted procedures.

COMPENSATION
$60,000–$82,000 annual salary

SCHEDULE
Typical hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Call: 1–2 shifts per week
Callback response requirement: 30 minutes

ROLE
• Perform pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to support safe patient care.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and support efficient workflow.
• Provide age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists.
• Circulate in orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci robotic, and some OB/GYN procedures.
• May float to Endoscopy.

Requirements
• Current North Carolina RN license or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement REQUIRED
• Associate's degree in Nursing REQUIRED
• 2+ years of Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN experience REQUIRED
• Must be comfortable circulating in orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci, and some OB/GYN procedures REQUIRED
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire REQUIRED
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire REQUIRED
• Ability to meet 1–2 call shifts per week and a 30-minute callback response requirement REQUIRED

Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
