As a Bakery/Deli Manager, you’ll lead daily operations, develop team members, drive sales and profitability, and ensure high-quality products and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced grocery store bakery and deli environment.

What You’ll Do

•  Lead daily operations of the bakery and deli departments
•  Supervise, schedule, hire, train, and develop team members
•  Drive sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and waste reduction
•  Manage inventory, ordering, merchandising, and product displays
•  Ensure food safety, sanitation, and brand quality standards are maintained
•  Prepare, package, and present bakery and deli products according to recipes and procedures
•  Execute promotions, upselling, and local store marketing initiatives
•  Operate cash register (POS) and ensure transaction accuracy
•  Monitor production levels, portion control, and freshness standards
•  Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bakery/deli environment

What We’re Looking For

•  Experience in bakery, deli, food service, grocery, or retail management preferred
•  Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
•  Strong customer service and communication skills
•  Basic math, financial literacy, and inventory management skills
•  Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
•  Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
•  Experience with bakery, deli, or food production operations is a plus
•  Food Handler Permit required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
•  Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Work Environment

•  Fast-paced grocery store bakery and deli environment
•  Exposure to hot cooking equipment and cold storage areas
•  Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs
