What We Seek...
We are looking for a detail oriented, in-house, plumbing Installer to perform installation of PVC, copper, pex piping and all plumbing fixtures and equipment following manufacture specifications and company requirements for our BoxPop custom shipping containers. Customized projects range from restaurants to mobile bars and full-service restrooms, to experiential event venues. Job Summary and Job Functions
- Perform installation of plumbing related equipment following company policies, manufacturer’s specifications and according to blueprints, schematics and diagrams
- Carry out all testing requirements of installed piping and equipment and report findings
- Order equipment, parts and supplies for the project
- Perform installation of copper water lines including brazing and soldering
- Perform installation of pro-pex water lines where applicable
- Perform installation of all waste and vent PVC piping
- Perform installation of plumbing fixtures and equipment
- Perform installation of gas lines for cooking equipment
- Determine the right material needed for installation work and order equipment, parts and materials for the project
- Provide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time
- Ensure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled out
- Carry out readings on machines with the full understanding of the implication of such readings
- Awareness and following of local and national regulations for plumbing safety
- Operate forklifts and other machinery, as needed
- Willingness and ability to follow MIOSHA and company safety guidelines and protocols

- Possession of 3 years or more Plumbing installation experience
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong ability to distinguish between various plumbing equipment
- Self-motivated individual with ability to follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a team
- Must have an eye for detail and be reliable with a “we say yes” attitude
- Ability to reading blueprints, schematics, and other diagrams
- Possession of a mechanical contractor license (Michigan) or the ability to obtain upon offer
- Ability to operate machinery, such as forklifts
- Knowledge of MIOSHA safety guidelines and practices as well as local, state and national regulations for electrical safely
- Cooperative teamwork approach and willingness to help and build others up around you

Physical Demands and Work Environment

- Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
