Will Call Associate
Description

The Will Call Representative serves as the primary point of contact for clients picking up and returning event rental equipment. This role requires a balance of excellent customer service, physical material handling, and strict attention to inventory accuracy. Because Will Call volume fluctuates, this position is cross-utilized to support the Furniture Department during downtime, ensuring chairs, tables, and lounge items are prepped, cleaned, and staged for upcoming orders.

Key Responsibilities

Will Call Operations (Primary Focus)

  • Customer Service: Greet clients arriving for pickups and returns in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process customer pickups and returns directly through the inventory software based on the contract.
  • Loading & Unloading: Safely load outbound rental equipment into customer vehicles and unload returning equipment, ensuring items are secured.
  • Quality Control & Intake: Inspect returning equipment for missing items or damage. Ensure all returning items flow properly through the established asset tagging and damage processing system, including photos to capture damages.

Furniture Department Support (Downtime/Off-Peak)

  • Equipment Prep: Clean, inspect, and prep tables, chairs, and specialty furniture items to ensure they meet quality standards before going out on rent.
  • Staging: Assist the warehouse crew in pulling and staging furniture inventory for outbound delivery trucks.
  • Organization: Help maintain a clean, organized, and logically structured furniture storage area within the warehouse.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Identify and separate damaged furniture for repair or replacement, logging issues into the system.
