Position Overview 

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale our internal platform, used to tag and enrich Amazon product data, monitor account and catalog health, and surface alerts for our retail and marketing teams. This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role: you'll own features end-to-end across the stack, from UI through database, on a business-critical system our teams rely on daily. We're a small team, so we need a strategic thinker who is, first and foremost, a doer, and who's comfortable using good judgment when documentation is thin. 

What You'll Do 

• Design, build, and maintain features across frontend and backend systems, including scalable APIs and services 
• Build tagging, data enrichment, and alerting workflows that make Amazon data more usable and actionable for our retail and marketing teams 
• Optimize database performance, query design, and application responsiveness 
• Integrate the platform with advertising, e-commerce, and analytics/reporting systems 
• Troubleshoot and permanently resolve production issues; monitor application performance and proactively surface problems 
• Write automated tests, participate in code review, and maintain technical documentation 
• Collaborate with product, retail, and marketing operations teams to deliver improvements 
• Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning; improve platform reliability, observability, and maintainability 

• 6+ years of full stack development experience, including demonstrated ownership of a production system end-to-end (architecture through deployment and support) 
• Experience building and supporting Single Page Applications, with strong Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript proficiency (Vue Router, state management patterns, responsive UI development) 
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs on Node.js, including serverless architectures on AWS Lambda, auth, API security, monitoring/logging, background jobs, and third-party integrations 
• Strong SQL skills — schema design, query performance tuning, indexing, and large dataset management 
• Experience in AWS production environments, including CI/CD, infrastructure troubleshooting, monitoring/alerting, and Git-based source control 
• Experience building data-driven applications, including consuming analytics datasets and developing reporting or alerting interfaces 
• Experience integrating applications with external platforms — advertising, e-commerce, or reporting systems 
• Comfortable working with limited documentation, using good judgment to figure out how existing systems work 
• Test-driven or quality-focused development practices, including code review, automated testing, and root cause analysis on production issues 
• Experience working in Agile software development teams using Jira and Confluence 

Preferred 

• Vue 3 Composition API; Pinia or Vuex; Webpack and modern build pipelines; Jest, Vitest, or Cypress 
• Experience with Amazon Advertising API, Amazon DSP, Vendor Central, or Seller Central 
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Redshift, or data warehouse environments 
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS, CodeCommit, Docker, or Kubernetes 
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or embedded analytics platforms 
• Experience with DBeaver or similar database client tools 
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools such as Claude Code to accelerate development, automate repetitive work, and improve day-to-day workflows
