Riverbend Community Mental Health Center is looking for a dedicated School Mental Health Liaison to play a pivotal role in strengthening student mental health supports across the district. Born out of the innovative NH MTSS-B System of Care project, this position empowers you to make a lasting, systemic impact by ensuring every student has equitable access to the care they deserve.

What You’ll Do

  • Bridge Systems: Foster powerful, proactive collaborations between schools, families, and community mental health providers (with a direct link to Riverbend).
  • Coordinate Care: Streamline service delivery by facilitating seamless referrals and coordinating comprehensive care plans.
  • Consult & Support: Partner directly with school staff across all grade levels to offer expert guidance on student mental health.
  • Drive Sustainability: Champion systems-thinking initiatives designed to build long-term, equitable mental health resources within the district.

Who You Are:

  • Expertise: Background in mental health, social work, counseling, or a related clinical field.
  • Systems-Thinker: Ability to look at the big picture and build sustainable, district-wide behavioral health processes.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of uniting schools, families, and clinical providers.
  • Passion for Equity: A strong commitment to ensuring equitable, barrier-free access to mental health services for youth.
Requirements

  

What You’ll Bring

  • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • Eligibility for or actively holding licensure in New Hampshire as an LCMHC, LICSW, or LMFT is required. 
  • A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with minimum coverage of 100,00/300,00 are essential.
