Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinic Support Lead

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the lead clinical support staff member at the assigned site, providing expert nursing care to patients.

- Perform telephone and on-site triage, assessing patient needs, prioritizing based on acuity, and directing providers to the most urgent cases.

- Room patients according to clinic standards, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow.

- Support and assist medical providers during patient examinations and procedures.

- Coordinate direct patient care, including administering treatments, collecting specimens, and documenting clinical information accurately.

- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare team members to ensure clarity and continuity of care.

- Maintain clinical supplies and ensure the cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms.

- Comply with all scope of practice guidelines and maintain adherence to clinic policies and procedures.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

- Proven experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in a primary care or specialty clinic.

- Strong assessment and triage skills, with the ability to prioritize patient needs effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients and team members.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) preferred.
