Pay Range: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Housekeeping team while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout the club and its residential properties. This position serves as a working lead, providing direction and support to Housekeeping staff, assisting with training, inspecting completed work, and ensuring established cleaning standards are consistently maintained.

  • Lead and support the daily activities of the Housekeeping team.
  • Perform thorough cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas throughout the club and residential properties.
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, residences, common areas, restrooms, offices, hallways, kitchens, living spaces, and other assigned areas.
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize, polish, and clean surfaces, fixtures, furniture, appliances, and other areas as assigned.
  • Make beds, change linens, replace towels, replenish supplies, and prepare residential spaces to established standards.
  • Clean kitchens and bathrooms to a high residential and hospitality standard.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning projects, seasonal cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, special events, and other special assignments.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies are properly used, maintained, and stored.
  • Provide detailed cleaning services in member or company residences with a high level of care and discretion.
  • Follow individualized cleaning instructions and preferences for assigned residences when applicable.
  • Properly handle household furnishings, décor, artwork, personal belongings, and other valuables with care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working inside private residences.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, missing items, or unusual conditions observed in residential properties.
  • Serve as a daily resource and role model for Housekeeping team members.
  • Assign or assist with distributing daily cleaning tasks based on operational needs.
  • Provide guidance to team members regarding cleaning methods, safety procedures, and service expectations.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new Housekeeping employees.
  • Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques and established country club standards.
  • Monitor team progress throughout the day and communicate staffing or operational concerns to the Director.
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive service-oriented work environment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure areas meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Identify areas requiring additional attention and ensure corrections are completed.
  • Assist management with maintaining housekeeping checklists, inspection standards, and cleaning schedules.
  • Communicate recurring cleaning or maintenance concerns to management.
  • Help ensure consistent standards are maintained across club and residential properties.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction through responsiveness to needs, enhanced communication and unparalleled professionalism.
  • Report to the Director of Residential Services.
  • Maintain property grounds well-groomed and clean at all times.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and move about freely in a multi-floor building and open space. The employee is frequently required to visually observe the condition of their surroundings. He/she is routinely required to bend, stoop, stand, walk, carry, and lift objects weighing 50 pounds or less. It is inevitable that other duties will arise from time to time.

Requirements

  

· High school diploma, G.E.D. or work equivalent.

· Required to work on-call duty when needed.

· 1-2 years of experience.

· Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations

· Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products

· Excellent organizational and team management skills

· Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
