BMS Family Health and Wellness Centers is seeking a dependable, highly professional, and exceptionally discreet Corporate Driver to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced transportation professional who takes pride in providing outstanding service, maintaining the highest standards of safety, and handling sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.

As our Corporate Driver, you will provide safe, reliable, punctual, and professional transportation for BMS executives and senior leadership, designated staff, and patients traveling between BMS locations, meetings, business engagements, airports, and other approved destinations. You will also play an important role in supporting our daily operations by securely transporting confidential documents, medication, packages, equipment, supplies, and other organizational materials.

Because of the nature of this position, confidentiality and discretion are essential. The Corporate Driver may be exposed to confidential conversations, executive schedules, meeting information, patient-related matters, organizational activities, and other privileged or sensitive information. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to protecting the privacy of BMS, our leadership, employees, and patients.


What You'll Do

Executive, Staff & Patient Transportation

  • Provide safe, reliable, courteous, and timely transportation for executives, senior leadership, authorized staff, and patients.
  • Transport passengers between BMS facilities, meetings, business engagements, airports, and other approved destinations.
  • Coordinate transportation assignments with the Director of Facilities and remain flexible as schedules and priorities change.
  • Plan routes in advance and monitor traffic, weather, construction, road closures, and other conditions to help ensure timely arrivals.
  • Remain available during meetings, appointments, and business engagements when return or onward transportation is required.
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles and with luggage, packages, materials, or other business-related items when appropriate.
  • Consistently provide a calm, courteous, professional, and service-oriented experience.

Confidentiality & Discretion

Trust is at the heart of this position. The Corporate Driver is expected to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.

  • Protect confidential, proprietary, personnel, financial, operational, patient-related, and other sensitive information encountered while performing assigned duties.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive schedules, destinations, travel arrangements, meetings, conversations, business activities, and organizational matters.
  • Never discuss, repeat, record, photograph, share, or disclose confidential conversations or information observed or overheard while performing job responsibilities.
  • Safeguard confidential documents, correspondence, electronic devices, packages, and other sensitive materials.
  • Protect information regarding executive whereabouts, schedules, routines, destinations, and passengers from unauthorized disclosure.
  • Follow all BMS privacy, confidentiality, information-security, records-management, and HIPAA-related requirements, as applicable.
  • Immediately report any suspected loss, unauthorized disclosure, security concern, or confidentiality breach through appropriate organizational channels.
  • Exercise excellent judgment, professional boundaries, and discretion when interacting with executive leadership and handling sensitive situations.

Vehicle Safety & Readiness

Your commitment to safety and preparedness will help ensure every trip meets BMS' professional standards.

  • Operate organizational vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with traffic laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
  • Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly identify maintenance, cleanliness, operational, or safety concerns.
  • Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, professional, and passenger-ready.
  • Monitor fuel levels, mileage, maintenance schedules, registration, inspections, and other assigned vehicle requirements.
  • Promptly report accidents, damage, mechanical issues, traffic violations, and safety concerns.
  • Ensure appropriate emergency, safety, and vehicle supplies are maintained.

Secure Transportation & Operational Support

In addition to passenger transportation, you will help keep BMS connected and operating efficiently by:

  • Securely transporting confidential documents, correspondence, medication, packages, equipment, supplies, and other organizational materials between authorized locations.
  • Maintaining appropriate custody and security of sensitive materials throughout transportation and delivery.
  • Delivering confidential documents and packages directly to authorized recipients when required.
  • Collecting confidential materials designated for secure shredding and protecting those materials throughout the collection and transfer process.
  • Collecting and distributing interoffice mail and packages between BMS locations.
  • Transporting equipment, office supplies, and operational materials between facilities.
  • Supporting scheduled pickup and delivery activities.
  • Maintaining accurate transportation, mileage, delivery, vehicle, and other required logs.
  • Assisting the Facilities/Operations Department with additional reasonable logistical responsibilities when transportation assignments permit.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, including no accidents or traffic violations within the last three years.
  • Ability to meet organizational insurance and bonding requirements.
  • Demonstrated history of safe and responsible vehicle operation.
  • Strong understanding of safe driving practices and applicable traffic regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with exceptional discretion and integrity.
  • Strong knowledge of local routes and the ability to efficiently navigate changing traffic and road conditions.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Dependability and punctuality, with the flexibility to accommodate changing executive schedules and transportation requirements.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for regular interaction with executive leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and respond professionally to unexpected situations.

Previous experience as an executive driver, chauffeur, corporate driver, transportation professional, or in a similar position supporting senior-level personnel is strongly preferred.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or another language commonly spoken within the communities we serve.
  • Previous experience in an FQHC, healthcare organization, corporate environment, nonprofit organization, government agency, or other professional setting.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is an active, service-oriented position that requires frequent driving and travel between BMS locations and other authorized destinations. Candidates should be comfortable with extended periods of driving and sitting and with working in varying traffic, road, and weather conditions.The position may require early mornings, evenings, schedule adjustments, or occasional extended hours based on executive transportation needs, meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and organizational operations. Flexibility, reliability, and punctuality are essential.The role may also involve physical activity, including standing, bending, carrying, loading and unloading materials, and occasionally lifting approximately 50–60 pounds. Travel between BMS sites, organizational events, outside training, and other business destinations may be required.
