Job Description

Continuum Environmental Services is seeking a hardworking, bilingual Construction Laborer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the landfill gas construction industry, including HDPE pipe fusion, and possess strong communication skills. Candidates should be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Construction Laborers perform a variety of manual labor tasks on construction sites. Responsibilities include fusing HDPE pipe, operating an excavator, driving a haul truck, checking grade, and performing other construction-related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in good standings. 
  • Must be willing to travel 3-6 weeks at a time, with one week spent at home each month, and comfortable with lodging in hotels.
  • Must be capable of walking long distances, working extended hours, and lifting/carrying over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, lift, push, pull, bend and twist.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in safely operating vehicles and equipment, including pickup trucks and smaller machinery.
  • The ability to work safely in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
  • Having previous experience in Landfill or Construction industries is preferred.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is desirable.
  • Possession of specialized certifications or training is considered a bonus.
