Electronics Production Assembler - Conformal Coat

Description

The Production Assembler (Conformal Coat) will coat the printed circuit boards and assemblies of power electronics for the defense and aerospace industry. 

  • Clean and prepare assigned parts in accordance with production drawings, work instructions, and verbal instructions.
  • Mix coating material and coat parts by dip, brush, or spray. 
  • Assist with potting (encapsulation) tasks. 
  • Self-check work before passing forward to ensure parts meet quality requirements.
  • Assist with rework on defective parts that are rejected by inspection or test personnel.
  • Log in and out of production jobs for accurate job tracking. 
  • Recommend process changes where practical.
  • Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
  • Perform other jobs as needed.
Requirements
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
  • Ability to maintain industry certifications - IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-J-STD-001 SPACE, and IPC-610. 
  • Ability to read and comprehend drawings, schematics, production aides, quality documents, etc. 
  • Ability to demonstrate visual acuity.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred, But Not Required:

  • Previous experience in electronic assembly or general manufacturing.
