Clarity on the Role

The Regional Director, Value-Based Care owns performance management and partner advancement for mid-sized partners or those entering increased value-based risk. This role serves as the primary performance and relationship leader for assigned partners. The Regional Director ensures insights, service levers, and clinical programs are translated into measurable partner outcomes.


Expectations

  • Partner Performance Management 
  • Own performance outcomes for assigned partner portfolio. 
  • Translate analytics and insights into actionable partner strategies. 
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans to address emerging risks or gaps. 
  • Partner Advancement & Relationship Leadership 
  • Deepen partner relationships through proactive, value-based care guidance. 
  • Support partners in advancing along the value-based care maturity curve. 
  • Maintain a consistent engagement rhythm aligned to the delivery model. 
  • Service Lever & Program Coordination 
  • Coordinate deployment of clinical programs, service levers, and internal SMEs. 
  • Ensure interventions are targeted, sequenced, and aligned to partner needs. 
  • Balance execution quality with long-term partner advancement. 
  • Escalation & Risk Management 
  • Identify barriers, risks, and opportunities early. 
  • Escalate appropriately with clear recommendations and supporting insights.


Requirements

Education

  •  Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.

Years of Related Experience

  • 6+ years in healthcare operations, strategy, administration, or care delivery with at least four years in management position.

Skills/Competencies/Behaviors

  • Experience managing healthcare or value-based care partner portfolios. 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into operational execution. 
  • Comfort operating across clinical, operational, and financial domains.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Relationship management and influence. 
  • Ability to manage complexity while maintaining execution discipline.
