POSITION SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with the HR Manager to design, coordinate, and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent. This role is dedicated to managing the full-cycle recruiting process, building candidate pipelines, and promoting the Firm as a premier workplace.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans to meet staffing needs across the organization
- Managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates
- Reviewing resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews, and preparing interview packets for hiring managers
- Maintaining accurate interview records and candidate tracking documentation
- Building and maintaining talent pipelines through networking, job boards, social media, and community outreach
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements
- Assisting with employer branding initiatives to enhance candidate attraction and retention
- Coordinating pre-employment screenings, background checks, and reference checks
- Supporting new hire onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive candidate-to-employee experience
- Maintaining recruitment records and reports, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Ensuring case management software (CMS) feed is cleared daily
- Ensuring emails are cleared daily
- Performing other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related HR role
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred
- Knowledge of recruiting best practices, including sourcing and selection techniques
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
