Kids Connections Developmental Therapy Center is a clinician-owned pediatric therapy practice providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services across four California clinic locations: Simi Valley, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, and Rancho Cucamonga.
Founded by Dr. Cynthia Conway, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of pediatric experience, our mission is simple: Learning to play. Playing to learn.
We’re looking for a compassionate and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing pediatric team. You’ll work with children and adolescents with autism and related developmental disabilities, helping them develop functional skills and greater independence through individualized, engaging, and play-based interventions.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Speech, Occupational Therapy, and ABA professionals who work together to support the whole child and help families achieve meaningful outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to children and young adults with a variety of developmental and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client's strengths, needs, and goals
- Provide therapy through individual sessions and social groups in clinic and telehealth settings
- Address areas including receptive and expressive language, articulation, social communication, functional communication, and other speech-language needs
- Complete evaluations, assessments, progress reports, and required clinical documentation
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment as appropriate
- Provide caregiver education and training to support carryover of skills across environments
- Collaborate with ABA, OT, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Help create a fun, engaging, and supportive therapy environment for every child
What We’re Looking For:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus!
