About this Opportunity:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing plant equipment.  

Responsibilities: 

• Repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work. 
• Implement plant improvements and modifications as assigned 
• Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with your customer as to important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion.   
• Ability to express intelligently core hydraulic and electrical principles 
• Experience in PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair procedures 
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and/or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge is preferred. 
• Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills. 
• Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic. 
• Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs. 
• Work with Operations to schedule maintenance of machinery as to minimize downtime during peak production times. 
• Ability to read and interpret measuring devices 
• Assist with office or production area moves, coordinating with other pertinent departments. 
• Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments. 
• Other duties as assigned

• Learn PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair procedures 
• Problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic. 
• Learn machine schematics and control diagrams. 
• Learn compressed air systems. 
• Capable of working on and keeping track of several projects at a time 

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a professional manner.  
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Ability to use of hand tools. 
• Requires ability to lift 50lbs maximum and stand for prolonged periods of time and very often going into tight, confined and close areas.  
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.  
• Minimum of 1 years machining experience.
