About this Opportunity:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing plant equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work.
- Implement plant improvements and modifications as assigned
- Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with your customer as to important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion.
- Ability to express intelligently core hydraulic and electrical principles
- Experience in PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair procedures
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and/or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
- Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic.
- Able to lift and carry products and/or equipment of up to 50 lbs.
- Work with Operations to schedule maintenance of machinery as to minimize downtime during peak production times.
- Ability to read and interpret measuring devices
- Assist with office or production area moves, coordinating with other pertinent departments.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments.

- Learn machine schematics and control diagrams.
- Learn compressed air systems.
- Capable of working on and keeping track of several projects at a time
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a professional manner.
- Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
- Ability to use of hand tools.
- Requires ability to lift 50lbs maximum and stand for prolonged periods of time and very often going into tight, confined and close areas.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years machining experience.
