What You’ll DoAs an Industrial Manufacturing Electrician, you’ll support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant equipment. Depending on your experience level, you may assist with routine maintenance tasks or take a lead role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role you will:

  

  • Reviews job orders to determine work priorities, while establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet production schedules as well as emergencies as they arise
  • Provides mentorship and a lead by example attitude and productivity
  • Maintains logbooks suitable for inspection by local, county, and/or state electrical inspectors for all electrical work performed
  • Performs routine electrical maintenance as required
  • Update/Redline Drawings, one lines, panel schedules
  • Specifies and drafts lists for purchasing all electrical parts needed to complete assigned work as well as correcting any electrical equipment deficiencies that are observed 
  • Troubleshoots AC and DC drives, PLC-based control systems, and instrumentation
  • Fluent in electrical schematics and PLC ladder-logic listings
  • Create and Interpret 1-line drawings
  • Adopt and exemplify the ENTEK culture and core values
  • Plans and perform jobs of installing and maintaining a variety of electrical equipment such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, switches, etc.
  • Reports to Site Electrical Supervisor
  • Will interact with employees of all levels of the company
  • Communication and relationship building with customers and outside vendors required.  


Requirements

 

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking mechanically inclined individuals with strong troubleshooting skills who are motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing maintenance team.   The ideal candidate will be well-rounded with approximately 10 years’ experience in a fully functioning manufacturing facility. The candidate Must be fluent with AC and DC drives, PLC-based control systems and instrumentation. AutoCAD skills a plus.

  

Education:

  • 10 years of working experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Equivalent of education and experience
  • AutoCAD preferred


Physical/Mental Requirements and Work Environment

This position requires occasional travel.

The noise level in the production facility is usually loud, and this employee will frequently be exposed to the production area. 
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/ or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. 


SAFETY EQUIPMENT 


Safety glasses, respirator, and hearing protection, steel toed shoes.

Your Work Schedule

  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday day shift. Flexibility is required to support maintenance coverage and scheduled shutdowns.
