The Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for building and scaling a full-stack, in-house marketing engine that generates high-quality B2C leads through owned channels, rather than purchased or third-party lead sources. This role owns content strategy and creation, organic and paid marketing funnels, and conversion optimization, and partners closely with sales and leadership to align lead volume and quality with pipeline goals. This role builds and manages the marketing funnel for both tax resolution and debt resolution clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own a full-stack, in-house lead generation engine — spanning content, SEO, paid media, email/nurture, and landing pages — reducing reliance on purchased or third-party leads.
- Develop and execute a content marketing strategy (blog, video, social, email) that drives organic traffic and qualified lead volume for tax and debt resolution offerings.
- Design, build, and continuously optimize marketing funnels and landing pages, from awareness through conversion, to maximize lead quality and volume.
- Own the full lead lifecycle, from acquisition through nurture and qualification, in close collaboration with sales and leadership.
- Plan and execute organic and paid campaigns (SEO, content, social, email, paid search/social) and measure performance against pipeline goals.
- Analyze performance across the funnel to identify bottlenecks, iterate quickly, and improve conversion and ROI.
- Manage the content calendar and oversee creation of marketing assets — copy, creative, video, and landing pages — in partnership with design resources.
- Evaluate and implement marketing technology (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and CRO tools) to support a scalable in-house engine.
- Identify and build relationships with partner buyers for excess leads generated by the funnel that exceed internal sales capacity.
- Manage the resale process for excess leads, including pricing, packaging, and delivery, to maximize return on the in-house engine.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree in marketing or related field preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience in growth or performance marketing, building lead generation funnels in-house.
- Proven experience creating content (written, video, or multimedia) that drives organic traffic and conversion.
- Experience owning SEO, paid media, and email/nurture programs end to end.
- Strong understanding of marketing funnel design, landing page development, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Data driven, with the ability to analyze performance and translate insights into action.
- Proficient with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, GA4, or similar).
- Experience managing a content calendar and cross-functional creative production.
- Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in financial services, tax, or debt resolution a plus.
- Comfortable owning a marketing view of lead cost, volume, and conversion performance.
