SUMMARY:
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Business Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining our mortgage platform, Encompass for loan origination. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the platform's functionality, configuration, and customization capabilities within the financial services industry.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
System Administration:
- Manage user access and permissions within Encompass.
- Configure and maintain system settings, including workflow templates, business rules, and security profiles.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement system updates, patches, and upgrades in coordination with IT and vendor support.
- Collaborate on team projects including enhancements, software changes, additional services added, and other projects as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Customization and Configuration:
- Customize platform functionality to align with business requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop and maintain custom forms, templates, and reports to support various stakeholders' needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze business processes and recommend system enhancements.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance for system changes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Data Management and Integration:
- Oversee data integrity and security within each platform, including loan accounts, customer records, and transaction data.
- Manage data imports, exports, and integrations with third-party systems to ensure data consistency.
- Develop and maintain data migration strategies for system upgrades and transitions.
Compliance and Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current with regulatory changes impacting mortgage lending.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to implement necessary changes and updates to ensure platform configurations and processes adhere to regulatory requirements including TRID, RESPA, and GDPR.
User Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users on platform functionality, best practices, and system updates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting inquiries and user support tickets.
- Develop documentation, release notices, and knowledge resources to facilitate user adoption and proficiency of major system changes.

COMPENSATION: $28.50 – $35.70 per hour

The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a platform administrator or similar role.
- Licenses/Certifications: None
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Encompass Administrator certification(s) such as Encompass Administrator Certified (EAC).
- Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, Apex, C#, VB or other relevant programming languages.
- Prior experience with mortgage banking software and systems.
- Knowledge of mortgage lending processes.
