GROWTH SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Reports to: Director, Growth Support

FLSA Status: Non-exempt


SUMMARY


The Growth Support Specialist supports business growth through new customer acquisition and strengthening relationships with current retailers. This role plays a key part in securing product placements, executing promotional campaigns, and ensuring high retailer engagement. Growth Support Specialists collaborate with multiple departments to drive brand visibility, reinforce customer loyalty, and contribute to overall revenue growth.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support sales and product placement efforts by driving new business opportunities and securing additional product placements within existing retailers.
  • Build retailer relationships by engaging directly with retailers and offering support for in-store promotions, product knowledge, and sales-driving activities.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to work closely with Strategy and Execution in implementing in-store campaigns, national promotions, and seasonal offerings that enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor performance metrics by tracking key metrics such as sales growth, product pull-through, and retailer satisfaction, and report findings to the Director, Growth Support. 
  • Promote customer loyalty through consistent communication with retailers to reinforce loyalty, share promotional ideas, and support ongoing product success.
  • Nurture qualified customer leads for the sales team.
  • Work with other departments as needed to increase lead generation and lead nurture.
  • Identify new lead prospects through internet research and social media.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in sales support, customer service, or retail account management
  • Strong communication skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to build rapport
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is typically performed in a standard office environment
  • Requires extended periods of sitting, and frequent use of a computer and phone 
  • Minimal travel to retailer locations, food shows, and other events to meet business needs may be required.   
  • Position requires some work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, to support marketing and company events
